Asian & Pacific Islander Graduate Celebration

The Asian & Pacific Islander Graduate Celebration commemorates and congratulates the achievements and efforts of Asian Pacific islander Desi American (APIDA) Graduates as individuals and as a community at USC. This graduation event acknowledges the hardships and struggles of the past, the accomplishments of today, and the leaders of tomorrow within our communities. While we make up a small portion of the population, it is important to commemorate and acknowledge the achievements of APIDA students who have earned their diplomas and highlight their academic accomplishments. Their journeys will be captured and recognized at AP Graduation where students will have the opportunity to share their stories, experiences, and impact with friends and family! We are now accepting applications for the Spring 2022 API Graduate Celebration! Here are details below:

At the end of each academic year, we celebrate the accomplishments of our amazing graduating APIDA students. Apply to walk, receive a lei, and celebrate with your friends and family. 

How to Apply

Apply to be the 2023 Student Keynote Speaker!

Each year we meet stellar graduating students with not only high achievements, but those who have committed their college career to giving back to the APIDA Community. We want to recognize you at graduation! Apply to be the Student Keynote Speaker! 

Recipients are also asked to write and present a speech at API Graduate Celebration. Recipients will receive support from the API Graduate Committee to perfect their speech.
