AP Graduate Celebration

Asian Pacific Graduate Celebration commemorates and congratulates the achievements and efforts of Asian Pacific islander Desi American (APIDA) Graduates as individuals and as a community at USC. This graduation event acknowledges the hardships and struggles of the past, the accomplishments of today, and the leaders of tomorrow within our communities. While we make up a small portion of the population, it is important to commemorate and acknowledge the achievements of APIDA students who have earned their diplomas and highlight their academic accomplishments. Their journeys will be captured and recognized at AP Graduation where students will have the opportunity to share their stories, experiences, and impact with friends and family! We are now accepting applications for the Spring 2022 AP Graduate Celebration! Here are details below:

Date: Thursday, May 12th, 2022
Time: 2:00PM – 4:00PM PST
Where: Leavey Library West Lawn

At the end of each academic year, we celebrate the accomplishments of our amazing graduating APIDA students. Apply to walk, receive a tassel, and celebrate with your friends and family.

Apply for the 2022 Outstanding Graduating Student Award

Each year we meet stellar graduating students with not only high achievements, but those who have committed their college career to giving back to the APIDA Community. We want to recognize you at graduation! Apply to receive the Outstanding Graduating Student Award. 

Recipients are also asked to write and present a speech at AP Graduate Celebration. Recipients will receive support from the AP Grad Committee to perfect their speech.
