Initiatives

Interested in our programs but don’t have the availability to commit all semester? Our Initiatives might be a better fit for you. Initiatives are programs and events that we offer and they are not application-based (with exception to the APIDA Leaders Community). Any USC Trojan can attend and participate. All events are free!

APIDA Residential Floor

The APIDA Leaders Community strives to cultivate a space and community for active participation, leadership development, personal growth, and a successful transition into college. Students can enjoy a home away from home at Birnkrant Hall (first years) or Century Apartments (second years).

QTAPI – Queer & Trans Asian Pacific Islanders

QTAPI is open to all Asian American, Pacific Islander, and Desi American students who identify with the Queer and Trans communities at USC. We host regular meetings, group hangouts, workshops, and informal gatherings for all.

AAPI Heritage Month

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month – a time to celebrate the diverse identities, histories, and experiences of all Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Check out our upcoming events and how we are celebrating heritage month.
